Overview:

Chunn Thai at Menai Marketplace is a Design & Construction project that brings the warmth and authenticity of Thai dining culture into a contemporary shopping centre environment. From concept development through to construction, Cubit Projects delivered a hospitality venue that balances inviting customer experiences with the practical demands of a busy restaurant.

Inspired by the natural textures and welcoming atmosphere of traditional Thai interiors, the design combines timber-framed servery windows, white gloss subway tiles, woven rattan pendant lighting and integrated greenery to create a space that feels relaxed, layered and full of character. Every material and finish was carefully selected to reinforce the brand while delivering a durable, high-performing hospitality environment.

Delivering both the design and construction under one roof allowed the project to evolve seamlessly from concept to completion. By coordinating every stage of the process, Cubit Projects maintained the original design intent while ensuring the fit-out was delivered efficiently, with careful attention to detail, quality and functionality.

The result is a contemporary Thai restaurant that feels warm, welcoming and authentic—creating an engaging dining experience while supporting the day-to-day operation of the business.
