Overview:
Parraybey Kitchen is a kebab and coffee shop that brings together the character of a local neighbourhood café with subtle references to the client’s cultural heritage. The design takes a relaxed and familiar approach, creating a space that feels authentic, welcoming and lived-in.
Blue and white square tiles are paired with warm timber to create a simple, considered material palette. Illuminated ceiling signage adds a soft glow across the shopfront, while retro-inspired lighting throughout the space reinforces the café’s nostalgic character.
The result is a casual neighbourhood space that balances cultural influences with a familiar retro café atmosphere — creating an inviting setting for everyday coffee, food and connection.
