TAKUMI RAMEN

Takumi Ramen is a proposed design project that brings together Japanese tradition, contemporary branding and the energy of a compact ramen bar. Designed as a kiosk with integrated bar seating, the concept creates a warm and inviting environment centred around the craft and experience of ramen.

The design reflects Takumi’s focus on carefully crafted, slow-cooked broth, translating a sense of patience and craftsmanship into the interior. Two-tone timber veneer introduces warmth and texture, while Takumi’s blue and white brand colours establish a strong visual identity. White subway tiles are arranged in a considered, Japanese-inspired pattern, giving a familiar material a distinctive character.

A dedicated ramen serving window creates a direct connection between the kitchen and customer, making the moment of receiving the ramen part of the experience. Together with the integrated bar seating, the layout creates a compact yet engaging space that connects brand, function and Japanese-inspired design.
